Located on a forested cliff at 10,200 feet, their beautifully renovated resort has rustic Colorado charm with a luxury feel high up amidst the Rocky Mountains. Whether you are dreaming of a small, intimate wedding or a more grand affair surrounded by up to 140 of your favorite people, The Lodge at Breckenridge wedding venue allows you to begin your life together as a married couple surrounded by the tranquility of the mountains and an escape from the reality of life down below.

About The Lodge at Breckenridge Wedding Venue

The quaint mountain town of Breckenridge, located about 80 miles from Denver, has a rich history nestled into the Arapaho National Forest. During the 1850s, prospectors began settling the area during the gold rush, and it officially became a town in 1867. Over 150 years later, Breckenridge has become known for its world-class skiing, as well as its mild summers and breathtaking vistas.

While the area’s history certainly adds to the charm and allure of The Lodge, its spectacular event spaces, luxury accommodations, and extraordinary views make it the incredible wedding venue it is known to be today.

It underwent a significant transformation in the early 2000s, elevating the property to meet the ideas of luxury and sophistication their guests deserved. Even while adding modern amenities and features, the owners managed to preserve The Lodge’s rustic elegance and inherent connection to its natural surroundings.

The Lodge has 57 guest rooms with unique layouts and features to make each stay unique. Guests often love the convenience of staying onsite for a destination wedding, and they will love the luxury feel of The Lodge at Breckenridge! There is also world-class dining (with astonishing views) to keep everyone full and satisfied throughout their visit.

Details of the Grounds

A wedding at The Lodge at Breckenridge is a beautiful blend of indoor and outdoor spaces created specifically for an undeniable immersion into the spectacular nature surrounding the hotel. They understand that couples getting married at The Lodge are looking for a venue with sweeping views and a unique intimacy amidst the expansive mountains, and they have curated their venue to be just that.

Your wedding will begin with a ceremony out on the Sky View Deck, which features breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and valleys of the Rockies. Rolling clouds in a blue Colorado sky spin by overhead as you gather with all of your favorite people to commit to spending the rest of your life alongside your partner.

Reception & More

After you say “I do,” your guests will gather in the Foyer, with a large stone fireplace and plenty of rustic features for a menu of signature cocktails and other delectable drinks (this could be a great time to steal away to go take some beautiful couple portraits while your guests enjoy socializing over hors d’oeuvres)!

Then, you’ll dine and dance in the neutrally decorated Mountain View Ballroom, so you can come in and add your signature touch to the space with your customized florals, lighting, and other décor. String lights hang from the ceiling over the dance floor for a romantic touch to keep you and your guests dancing all night.

The best part of the Mountain View Ballroom by far is the breathtaking panoramic view of the mountains displayed through large windows that invite the outdoors in. At first glance of the space, you’ll understand how the Mountain View Ballroom got its name.

Of course, The Lodge at Breckenridge also has lovely suites where you, your partner, and your wedding parties can prepare for your big day, and there’s plenty of natural light for soft and elegant getting-ready photos.

Now, let’s talk numbers; assuming you’ll want to host both your ceremony and reception at The Lodge at Breckenridge, you can invite up to 140 guests (the capacity for the Mountain View Ballroom). The space is cozy for smaller weddings, too, so if you have a more limited guest list, it will work.
